Native and exotic flowers are providing a riot of colour at frogshollow at flaxton, some of it right in front of the accommodation cabin. Cascading down the rock wall beside the dam is a colourful exotic creeper called Lotus berthelotti ‘Red Flash’. This appears to be thriving in its northern aspect against the warmth retaining rocks. Dotted all through the gardens and along the edge of the rainforest is the native paper daisy, Coronidium elatum, which is colonising the area by self seeding from the initial dozen tubestock planted as a part of a revegetation project.
